Bryan Anderson - President, Governor
Mr. Anderson earned his Bachelors Degree in Finance and Business while attending University of North Dakota, Lake Region College and Mayville State College. He has held various positions at Ramsey National Bank of Devils Lake, American Federal Bank of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks and most recently is the Sr. Vice President for the First State Bank of Munich. He is one of the founders of NPSO and farms west of Rock Lake raising primarily wheat, canola and soybeans.
Craig Schommer - Vice President/Secretary/Treasurer, Governor
Mr. Schommer is a graduate of the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He is the chairman of the Cavalier County FSA committee and also President of the Munich Rural Fire Department. A native and current resident of Munich, he operates a regionally based grain and oilseed farm.
John Van Dam, Governor
Mr. Van Dam is currently the President and General Manager of HyValley Seed Management Inc., a hybrid canola planting seed production company based in Park River with seed production operations in  North Dakota, Colorado, and California. Previously he worked as the National Canola Product Manager for Winfield Solutions, LLC (CROPLAN GENETICS) for the spring and winter canola programs as well as the Biofuels technology representative. He was on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Canola Association for 8 years and continues to be a regular contributor to the U.S Canola Digest magazine, recognized globally for its valuable content. He has worked in the North American canola industry since 1980 and in a number of roles including variety development, production agronomy, sales/marketing, and hybrid seed production. He has canola testing and production experience in thirty-nine states and seven provinces. He was born in Canada and received his degrees from the University of Guelph, an agricultural based college near Toronto.
Paul Becker, Governor
Mr. Becker is a graduate of North Dakota State University, with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He is currently a board member of Ramsey County Water Resource Board, Greater Ramsey Rural Utilities, Lake Region Grain Marketing Club and the Ramsey County Crop Improvement Association. Mr. Becker and his family members owned and operated a custom harvesting operation with services spanning from Texas to North Dakota. He has been involved in agribusiness for over 30 years and is a fifth generation farmer with a centennial farm that has been in the Becker family for over 125 years. Additionally, Paul has been involved with Ramsey County and North Dakota Farm Bureau, and North Dakota Landowners Association.
Kent Weston, Governor
Mr. Weston established a grain and seed conditioning facility in 1988, and diversified in 1996 at which time he added chemical sales and custom application to the enterprise. He holds an Agricultural Engineering degree from North Dakota State University and operates the Weston Family Farm. Mr. Weston has served and continues to serve on numerous boards, some of which include Boarder Central School Board, Cypress Township Board, Sarles Park Board and the Cavalier County Job Development Board.
Bill Mickelson, Governor
Mr. Mickelson attended North Dakota State University and has managed the family farming operation for 40 years. He was the first president of the Northern Canola Association and has been recognized in the canola industry for several years. Mr. Mickelson has also served as the president of the U.S. Canola Association and currently serves as a canola representative and vice chairman of the North Dakota Oilseed Council.
Jeff Teubner, Governor
Mr. Teubner has been actively involved in agriculture for 25 years, now operating Teubner Farms, Inc., a diversified small grains and oil seed operation in the Bisbee, ND area. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and has served on the boards of the U.S. Durum Growers Association, the North Dakota Crop Protection Product Harmonization and Registration, North Star Grain and Transfer, and the Agate Oil Company.
Michael Muhs, Governor
Mr. Muhs received his Farm Management certification from the East Grand Forks Technical College. Subsequently, he operated Muhs Construction and began farming with his father. Mr. Muhs is currently a Sales Representative for Pioneer Brand Products while continuing farming operations.
Kelly Hall, Governor
Mr. Hall attended the University of North Dakota where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He worked in the insurance industry and the Target Corporation for several years. Mr. Hall returned to the Munich area where he is currently operating the family farm with his brother.
Michael Zimmer, Governor
Mr. Zimmer attended college in East Grand Forks and returned home to farm with his family in Munich ND. He started Zimmer Plumbing and Home Center in 1990 and the Langdon Building Center in 1991.
Chris Pankratz, Governor
Mr. Pankratz attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND and the University of North Dakota. He has been farming in Munich with his dad and brother since high school primarily raising canola, wheat, barley, flax and sunflowers and also raises cattle. Mr. Pankratz is a member of the Munich School Board and is a Huron Township Board member.
Chad Pankratz, Governor
Mr. Pankratz attended college at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake. He has been farming in Munich with his dad and brother since high school primarily raising canola, wheat, barley, flax and sunflowers and also raises cattle. Mr. Pankratz is a member of the Munich Rural Fire Department and is a Bruce Township Board member.
