SITE LOCATION
The proposed plant will be near Munich, North Dakota. Located in Cavalier County, ranked #1 in canola production in the U.S., and adjacent to Towner County, ranked #2 in the nation for the 2006 crop year, the plant will be in the heart of U.S. canola production. NPSO has optioned 130 acres contiguous to a state highway. The site includes a short-line rail spur which includes access to both Class 1 class carriers. The access to multiple modes of transportation in the existing layout contributes to a logical traffic flow. The site overlies the largest aquifer in Cavalier County and is close to Canada for additional feedstock sourcing.
